The 3 Valleys and Berber Villages Trek is a 3-day adventure through the Atlas Mountains, exploring Berber culture, scenic valleys, and stunning landscapes. Highlights include Azzaden and Imlil Valleys, Tamsoult Waterfalls, and Berber villages. The trek is family-friendly, with experienced guides, accommodation in a Berber house and Riad Jnane Imlil, and meals included. Customizable options and a comprehensive equipment list ensure a smooth, enriching journey.

After breakfast at your hotel in Marrakech, you will be picked up at 9 am and driven to the High Atlas Mountains via Tahnaout and Asni. Upon arrival at Imi Oughlad, the starting point of your trek, meet your local guide, cook, and muleteer. Enjoy an optional mint tea before starting your trek up to Tizi n’Tacht (2000m) Mountain pass. Take in the stunning views of Imi Oughlad village and the Oukaimeden ski resort, have lunch on-site, then descend through a juniper forest to reach the authentic Azzaden Valley. Traverse gently through the valley, admiring the Berber villages, and continue walking until you reach Id Issa village (1800m). Overnight at a Berber house. (5-6 hours walking)

Enjoy the scenic view of the valley with its walnut groves and streams, heading towards Tamsoulte shelter. Hike gently through Tizi Oussem and juniper forests, ending the valley trek with a visit to the highest waterfall in the High Atlas Mountains, Aghorghiz Waterfalls. Afterwards, head back on the path a bit to join the Tizi Mzik (2489m) pass, leading to Imlil Valley. Admire the stunning view of the Ait Mizane Valley and descend to Imlil village. Overnight at Riad Jnane Imlil. (5-6 hours walking)

After breakfast, trek down to Tizi n’Tamaterte and enjoy the panorama of Toubkal summit and Imlil Valley, along with other surrounding peaks. Descend to Tinghrine village and walk down the valley to Ikkiss village for lunch. Continue with a short hike up to Tizi n’Ougerssioual, where you can take in the beautiful views of Matat Valley, before descending to the end of the trek. Transfer back to Marrakech by the end of the day. (Alternative: Instead of a long 6-7 hours hike, you can opt for a shorter 4-hour trek through the valley).
